While the ABC has resisted calls for a Royal Commission into Guy Montgomeryβs uncanny resemblance to Amelia Earhart, they did allow me to go on his Spelling Bee show and I will be distributing my earnings to the tropical crabs that have been wrongfully implicated in Ms Earhartβs disappearance π¦
SEE YOU NEXT WEEK WHERE I RETURN AS CHAMPION!!

An absolute joy to wrap comedy festival roadshow! We went to the dreamiest little towns, saw some stunning rainforests, rivers and redwood trees and got to perform for the sweetest crowds πͺ½
Thank you so much for having us, South Morang, Kyneton, Warburton and Cowes!

Here's a handy reminder of the breadth of insults you can use in "highly competitive" environments instead of homophobic slurs! A shout out to all the brave, brave VFL players who have the hardest job on the planet and are under so much pressure that they simply must "from time to time" use hateful rhetoric.
Heartbreaking to be able to recycle this clip from the Izak Rankine F-slur incident last year and apply it to the Lance Collard F-slur incident this year. Almost as if the AFL has a systemic problem with homophobia...

What a bloody festival! Balancing day job, gigs and show was challenging but I am so grateful to all of you who came to see the final season of "God's Favourite" before I take it to Edinburgh.
SORRY FOR BEING SAPPY but this festival has absolutely been about community for me. I've seen extraordinary shows and beautiful works of art, but seeing everyone pull together and rally around each other rules. Watching people who have been working so hard on their craft get their flowers rules. Stamping out tall poppy bullshit and locking into some artist/tech/FOH solidarity rules.
Shout out to Peta from @heydowling for producing the show, to everyone at the festival who gave me a gig, to my bosses at my day job (The Weekly) for being supportive of my season, to @proudly.melbourne for creating an amazing alt festival club space and taking on the organising of the Dumpster Awards in perpetuity.
Here are some highlights!
1. Presenting the Pinder prize
2. Four stars in some trash leftist rag
3. Celebrating the winners of the fifth annual Dumpster Awards ("We're never gonna die!")
4. Doing deals with Dougie and Dylan
5. Cycling home in the rain
6. Blissed out dancing in festival club with Sam
7. Anointing James with a sticker for best poster design
8. Delivering the opening speech in The Great Debate
9. Papped by Grace Jarvis after stage managing the Rocky Horror Picture Show (unrehearsed, incredibly stressful, highlight of the festival)
10. Moments before getting my ass handed to me in travel Scrabble (Humiliation! At the Lesbian Bar)

An absolute honour to overcommit to the bit at the Great Debate!
The topic was "That things were better in the olden days" so I decided to haul out my 16th century landsknecht kampfrau dress and spend my precious stage time educating the lovely town hall audience about the sex lives of the Ancient Romans.
Thank you to my team @samjaycomic and @iansmithcomedy and I hope the opposing side of @lukeheggie, @oz_faruqi and @michellebrasier enjoy the taste of defeat π
Apologies to Paul McDermott our esteemed moderator, I didn't think before I called you "wizened and old"!
(Also God's Favourite completely sold out its run so we've added three extra shows on the final weekend!!)

We sold out the entire second week, so we've put on THREE extra shows in the same venue!
THURSDAY 16/4 (6.10pm)
SATURDAY 18/4 (4.30pm & 6.10pm)
If you've got an artist pass, shoot me a message and we can work out a comp if you like π

β‘οΈMelbourne International Comedy Festival 2025 Most Outstanding Show nominee & Pinder Prize winner Scout Boxall is heading to Edinburgh Fringe 2026 β‘οΈ
Stranded in regional Victoria without medication for the first time in 12 years, Scout pulls out all the psychological stops to survive the worst night of their life.
An exquisite, darkly funny retelling of a harrowing mental marathon through manic withdrawal; Scout imagines life in the Middle Ages, trawls the strange crevices of the internet, makes peace with their own mediocrity and (briefly) surrenders to God.
Part storytelling, part stand-up, all raw and unflinchingly real.

It's my day off today so I thought I'd share some of the wonderful email complaints I have received from people with ADHD
Shout out to the original complainant Lewis... you have done the impossible and organised a community of dopamine deprived, executively dysfunctional queers to a common goal π
Four more shows of "God's Favourite" at Trades Hall this week π‘
