The Banquet part 2 ! As seen exhibiting with @normanreagallery in York at the Adrenaline Junkie exhibition last February ☺️
I’m glad I got to recalibrate this multi part piece, it felt more balanced than the first time I exhibited in my degree show with the way it sits on the table.I got to push and develop more concepts within the second layer, however it is still a little unrefined and I’d like to make it more cohesive for more poignant expression. Something I will perhaps come back to, or work on individual aspects so as to develop in different areas. Overall it was a lush experience thank you @normanreagallery

So happy to share that I’ve spent the last 2 months working as @helenatraill ‘s artist assistant. This has been a god send during post art school panic and complete overwhelm of what it may or may not be to be a ‘working artist’. I’ve had so much fun setting up the studio, prepping canvases, workshopping concepts, archiving, and sharing a little of my own practice. I’ve loved learning from such a talented and successful artist with an enigmatic, community fuelling spirit. Im glad to say I’ve leant a helping hand and learnt a lot. I’m going away for a while in December but come next April(ish) I will be back in the UK and continuing my practice, as well as being open to any more assisting needs !!
