Thursday is for our new riders! On the schedule tonight is our weekly new rider class at 5:00-6:00pm (starting Feb 19th this class will start at 4:30pm) all riders need pants, long sleeve, any bike and any helmet. Cost $20 cash only!

It’s time to kick off this summer! All kinds of good stuff going on tonight! Check out the highlights below!!

- Normal Friday schedule. Practice and sign ups 5:30-6:45 with racing at 7:00pm

- Tonight kicks off our Fun Friday series so bring your Fatboy for a fatboy open race!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼

- State race weekend rider recognition. We had a big crew take home a lot of hardware last weekend. Bring your awards from Bellflower and Whittier for a little rider recognition!

Rhythm sections, one of the best likes on the track to practice! The more control you can be on this straight the rest of the track will be easy!Here are a few tips…

1) be relaxed! If you hit this straight tight it’s going to show and you’re going to miss backside

2) ride forward on the bike. It’s important to stay up front and not let yourself hang off the back

3) be precise. The more precise you are and getting the wheels on the ground when they need to be the faster you will be through this section

Now take this we tips to every jump on the track as well!

2) our monthly bmx beginner league! This is a month long program with everything you need to get started in bmx racing. This program you register at our website sandiegobmxtrack.com we look forward to having you out!!

Join us every Friday in June & July for a little extra fun during our regular race nights at San Diego BMX! Each week will feature a different themed race, relay, or challenge to keep the summer energy high and the good times rolling. 🚲💨

From Parent/Kid Relays and Fat Boy Races to Big Air Contests, Backwards Races, and team challenges—there’s something fun for everyone all summer long!

These events are all about making memories, sharing laughs, building community, and adding a little extra excitement to Friday nights at the track.

My first time jumping in the equipment and making track changes (I’ve dabbled in the past but nothing 100% solo). I love watching the guys on the equipment and have spent a bit more time in it recently. Decided it was time to change the track myself. Easing my way into it with just the first jump!

First jump inspired by none other then @chulavistabmx (RIP) and it came out so good! Multiple different lines, easy or challenging if you want it to be and so fast!

Might be time to get in the equipment more often. What’s next?! 🤔

The big race weekend is over and we are straight back at it! Tonight we will lower the intensity but train with purpose looking at ways to get faster! See you tonight for #SpeedClinic

San Diego let’s ride!! We have the track open for practice today 10:00-12:00. Come join us for some fun in the sun! Remember all riders MUST HAVE pants, long sleeve, any bike/helmet is fine. Practice is $10 cash only!

Do you struggle in racing? Well you need to RACE MORE! Racing is like anything else, if you want to be better at it you need to do it more. How does this get accomplished?See the below…

1) race locals! All the time! A reason someone like @niclong64 is such a good racer is because he would always race! Did was winning world cups as an amateur and still racking up at this track weekly #respect

2) struggle to have a good class locally? Ask some older riders to train with you. You hold your performance in your hands. Find some fast riders at your track and ask them if they want to hit some laps with you! Take control of your situation!

Lear to lead, learn to pass, learn how to hold your position in the pack by doing it!!
