隙間は、東京を拠点に活動するアーティスト・片岡売介と、D.A.N.としても活動するミュージシャン・櫻木大悟のユニット TONESTONESによる展覧会を開催します。
TONESTONESは、2023年、銀座の Sony Park Miniで開催された展覧会から開始されたプロジェクトです。視覚（ドローイング）と聴覚（音）を用いて意図と然の間を模索する2人の試みは、身体の即興性が異なる形式に出力されながら、それらの（非）同期を行き来することで、一回性を含んだ変化するインスタレーションを生み出します。
石を使う片岡の独創的な描画手法によって描かれるドローイングの制作に呼応し、櫻木は発生する振動から音を生成、多重的なサウンドトラックを制作し、パフォーマンスを行います。
ユニット名が展覧会のタイトルとなる本展「TONESTONES」は、新作のドローイングの作品と、本展のために開発されたサウンドを発表します。ドローイングでは、石による独自の制作がさらに追求され、サウンドはジョン・ケージからの緩やかなインスピレーションを受けながら、ギャラリーの空間内で重なり合う音のレイヤーが絶えず変化します。
また、展示期間中には、片岡と櫻木によるライブパフォーマンスを開催します。
