SMARTLESS is now on MAX!

This shoot was a massive sprint for two weeks and the process taught me a lot.

Verité shoots are some of the most fulfilling regardless of the subject matter. It’s a practice of being present and connected with the folks around you. Although this project is pure comedy, there’s an improvisational dance between the crew and folks in front of camera to tell the same story. I hit a higher state of existence when everyone on the team doing the same dance in sync with each other.

Hot damn! ‘Girls Room’ won best series at Tribeca X. Grateful doesn’t even begin to describe what I’m feeling. 2019 came with a lot of challenges for @tiffanyjenellej and I as a team. For me, ‘Girls Room’ is a result of perseverance. Thank you to the team who supported collaborated with us. The quality of the product means nothing if the time on set isn’t genuine. The whole Girls Room team carried the project close to their hearts and it shows. •
