We are Revolting Threads.

A not-for-profit collective selling t-shirts and other pieces featuring artwork by underrepresented artists and designers, primarily of Palestinian and Middle Eastern descent.

All profits are split equally between the artists, and charities working on the ground in Palestine. We won’t be making any money from this ourselves — our aim is simply to raise funds and awareness using our experience and skills.

We’re currently taking submissions.

THE BRIEF: Create work that raises awareness of what’s happening (and has historically happened) in the region, with a focus on the occupied territories.

Also @palmusicuk, whose video link to musicians doing extraordinary work with the children of Gaza stopped us in our tracks.

UK Lawyers for Israel tried to shut the night down, suggesting it would be hate-filled and antisemitic. The reality was a room full of love, solidarity and people of every background standing together.
