peter lyons was my first friend in shreveport. first friend since getting back to the states. he took me out for my birthday, showed me around town, bought my favorite cake and had everyone in korner lounge sing me happy birthday over it. that was the first time i’d ever met him. gonna miss him, can’t believe he’s gone.
