I never thought i’d be working at this capacity and in this space. I started off just closet recording vocals to a beat and stood tall on that process as my gold standard; knowing in the back of my mind that the legends that came before me walked an immersive path of a prestigious studio culture that ran like a well oiled machine which involved dedicated technical personnel—and that I was not worthy. I STILL am not worthy—i’m actually quite the burnt individual with a lot to learn and do; but soon I hope to echo what i’ve learned from the greats before me into the future of what my new company will represent.

#Turntablism is the ism that got me here and to wherever it’s gonna take me, which I have no control over. Most kids grew up with piano lessons, I was taught how to DJ at a very young age. When my hoop dreams deflated, turntables inflated my reality. It didn’t just show me a way, it presented a life.

Not winning doesn’t mean you lost—you just failed to realize you ain’t playing no games 💪🏽. #themoreyouknow🌈💫

IDGAF should stand for “I’m Doing Great And Fantastic” because that should always be your energy; especially for things you’re passionate about.

The keyboard has been pivotal to my brand of music and i’ve always known that at some point I would begin to actually study music and really learn how to play the piano. So this is that beginning. It’s routine that I practice; even if it’s the same songs over and over and over and over.

I’m led to believe loneliness are small towns along the way of your pursuit to achieving the greatness you’re destine for. Just stay en route and it shall be in your rearview at some point; unless you’re doing donuts on the highway—then that’s on you. 💫👁️

It’s interesting to me when you let your music just take the wheel and steer you into the direction it does. It’s like ghostriding the whip, but with your career 💯 s/o to Free Speech 🤞🏽, @kingthurz , @partyinmylivingroom , and @lovemybabyjoss .

I find the pursuit of accomplishment interesting because I don’t pay attention along the way; hell, i’m not even antsy about whatever the end goal is. I just want to play Rollercoaster Tycoon 💆🏽‍♂️
