Rediscovered some decade-old photos I stashed away on the @vsco app. This was from 2013-14 when I first picked up a camera, also back then Chittagong was my muse. I grew up there and learned photography around the port area.

Hi, this is Justin and Ragheeb.

Three months ago, we met for the first time as complete strangers at a job interview in New York City.

It didn’t take long to realize we weren’t really strangers. Both new to the city, trying to pursue a career in the creative industry, and both drawn to the same niche of documentary-style photography and filmmaking.

More than anything, we wanted to build something of our own. We wanted a way to tell stories that aren’t drenched in modern trends or flashy edits but rooted in what’s actually real.

Now, as friends and business partners, we’re excited to introduce OpenPages.Studio, a production company driven by authentic storytelling.

While we specialize in documentary-style content that captures real moments and the essence of businesses, we also bring the same passion and attention to detail to commercial and editorial photos and videos.

Whether it’s capturing behind the scenes narratives, or telling the stories that often go unnoticed, we’re here to create content that speaks to both heart and the business.

The book is open. Let’s start filling in the pages.

I’ve been transplanting myself into NYC for the past nine months. I always knew I’d end up here doing something peculiar and exciting. Alas, I turned out pretty regular—and maybe exciting things are just a state of mind. You’ve got to be open to surprises to stay excited; otherwise, it’s just anxiety.

Anyway, speaking of peculiarities, I’ve noticed an alarming amount of frozen dog shit and entire sidewalks glazed with dog piss.

I like this city. It has that pulse, you know?
