Something from the Pitch Graveyard.

A while back I did this piece of concept art for great pals and talented directors @mikeyplease and @ojaridan in the hopes of art directing the music video for the last Beatles song - Now and Then.

It was going to be a multiplane extravaganza using a mix of 2D and stop motion animation. 

Unfortunately we didn't get the gig and were beaten to the post by the lord of the rings himself, Mr Peter Jackson - which is fair enough. 

Now that the song and video is released I thought I'd share what I conjured in a 24hour panic.

Did you know that fungi can grow underwater? Me neither until I was asked to do this illustration for @wearegrow___

They are currently recruiting participants for their next AQA courses in January 2023, and they will open a Mushroom Cultivation work next year to anyone who wants to know more about mushrooms with workshops, courses and events, the proceeds from which will support their wider work at GROW.

In collaboration @margaret_london who has curated this campaign with nine artists as part of their 1% for the planet commitment.
