This year I had the privilege to run a Unreal Engine 5 Cinematic Workshop at Toronto Metropolitan University's, Red Bull Gaming Hub.

This event sold out with in 24 hours of the tickets going live and it was so fun to have students at all levels of experience come down to learn this ever growing part of the film industry.

I've been doing a lot of studying I'm the field of virtual production over the past year. And I have a few more events planned for 2024. Stayed tuned we are just getting started!

Special thanks to @kr1s_8 for being a constant collaborator, @aidan_att, as well as @jacquelinefilms and @jamesb_photography_ for taking some photos at the event.

I challenged myself to recreate a shot from the movie Ex Machina (2014) In Unreal Engine 5.

This was extremely fun and definitely a challenge and there are still things I would want to change but I am extremely proud of myself.

I'll make an in-depth brake of the video when I got some free time because I used a lot of interesting techniques in order to replicate the shot in CG.

The model of Ava was made by rosaliarenda https://skfb.ly/oyXFY

This is my submission to the Eternal Ascent 3D Community Challenge! Hosted by Clinton Jones. @_pwnisher_

These challenges bring thousands of 3D artists from around the world together and I am so happy I could be a part of it.This is the first one of his challenges I have submitted to and I'm so proud of how it turned out.

This project was so fun and I learned a lot about character retargeting. I can't wait to see the final render montage.I am working on a video that goes over my process so stay tuned for that, Hope everyone have a wonderful day.

Who are we, and what do we stand for? 🤔🌏

Scanning the Globe is a cultural preservation project that uses documentary, 3D scanning, and digital storytelling to preserve objects, spaces, and the stories they hold.

We believe history should not only be remembered, but experienced in ways that feel accessible, engaging, and relevant to new audiences.

Through film, digital tools, and exhibition, we are exploring how cultural heritage can be preserved and shared for future generations.

Visit the website and event page through the link in our bio to learn more about the project and exhibition.

#gaussiansplatting

More old art I made a few years ago, this was a CG render made with a Gaussian Splat. The scan is of Newcastle outback paintball field in Oshawa.

I want to start working with Gaussian splats again they are super fun and crazy photo reel.
