A look back at BAINBRIDGE UNCOVERED 🎨✨
Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting the talented collective from Bainbridge Print for their exclusive Private View. As part of the @riverartwalk , the gallery was transformed into a vibrant showcase of printmaking and creative exploration, featuring artists from both their Croydon and Vauxhall sites.
It was a brilliant evening of art and community here at the Handbag Factory. Huge thanks to everyone who joined us and to the organisers for such a successful run! @bainbridgeprint

Join our curated exhibition Soft Transition at Make Space Studios as part of RAW.
Curator @anzhela.curator
Soft Transition approaches Make Space Studios as a point of departure – a threshold from which movement, play, and discovery begin. Like a game, art opens a protected space for experimentation, where rules may be tested, conventions gently bent, and meaning revealed through wandering rather than instruction.
For Open Studios 2026, viewers are invited to step beyond the familiar boundaries of the artist’s workspace. Instead of encountering completed works carefully contained within studios, artistic gestures spill outward into the building and its surroundings – appearing in corridors and kitchens, storage areas and overlooked corners, extending into the garden. The architecture itself becomes a participant.
The exhibition unfolds through movement and attention. Visitors navigate the space as players rather than spectators – searching, pausing, misreading, discovering. Works may not announce themselves. They may be hidden, embedded, provisional, or fleeting, revealing themselves only to those willing to look closely, linger, or follow an intuitive path.
In Soft Transiition, art is not simply encountered, it is found.

We're proud to be part of the inaugural River Art Walk this weekend ✨

Following the Thames and the streets around it, RAW invites audiences to encounter art at every scale, from seeing internationally recognised institutions to meeting artists at work in their own spaces.
Illuminated River is proud to be part of the programme. As darkness falls, why not use one of the guides on our website to take a self-guided walk along the Thames and experience the Illuminated River bridges after dark? Link in bio for details.
