My interior lounge area has always been lacking. It was three lobby chairs and a patio coffee table. Bulky, cumbersome and difficult to get in and out of when entertaining a larger amount of people. Took the first steps toward resolving it. Jonny Guilmet gave me four MCM chairs and a giant rectangular butcher block countertop. I cut the top down to a manageable and aesthetically pleasing shape, took a pedestal base from an old junky table I had rotting outside (had to sand and paint it a bit), did the burning, sanding, sealing and assembly. Next will be wrapping the pedestal in rope and setting all the pieces in place. Process is important in here. Please share steps when you build stuff! It is truly appreciated. More pics soon.

Couple of skulls I made next to a custom torch made by Kirby Fleming at HOB in Ventura.
Went to Derek and Roxanne Weaver’s last night for a live viewing of Matt Marble’s show ‘Spike’s Breezeway Cocktail Hour” on YouTube. Did the meta thing and got a pic of some of us watching while in the place being featured. Super informative episode. If you are building a Tiki bar or a place to entertain guests (Tiki or not) there is a ton of great ideas and things to consider being gifted to the masses by these hosts. Very cool night with a couple of the nicest and most generous people. Wish I’d taken more pics.
