The first of four big concussions. South mountain, thanksgiving day Nov 2020. Then it was at Hawes in Feb 2024 before supercross. Follow that up with the two big dingers. One in June of 2025 at a race in Idaho that I also collected some broken ribs, then again in Nevada where I also got a broken wrist, scapula and nose. The last two really took a toll. It’s been five months and starting to feel better. Starting to understand why I had such a hard time remembering things, mood changes, not being able to complete a full work day etc etc. all sorts of wild stuff that happens with head injuries. I’ve had lots of concussions over the years. I’m pretty sure these last four are the ones that hit hardest. I’ve learned a lot recently. It’s been a few years since I’ve really felt good and the last eight months have been more difficult than ever. Things are coming around now, I’ve barely ridden my bike at all for awhile now but excited to get rolling again. My fitness is trash, I’ve completely lost my base so it’s gonna be climb to get back to a place I feel good about. Excited to get going. I’ve got Lots of plans to share along the way and I hope to see many of you on the trails.
