Some familiar faces are coming to The Museum soon! Shaun The Sheep: Flock This Way will be opening May 16! In this hands-on exhibit, visitors explore the antics of Shaun The Sheep and his pals on Mossy Bottom Farm. Exhibit components and activities encourage children to playfully explore themes including problem solving and resilience in a safe and lighthearted manner. The exhibition will be open from May 16 to September 6, 2026.

This exhibit was developed by Minnesota Children’s Museum in partnership with Aardman Animations LTD. Shaun The Sheep: Flock This Way is locally sponsored by the Berks County Community Foundation.

Gary Erbe: Magical World is now open! This engaging exhibition includes fifty works that cover both paintings and finished assemblages (models for the paintings), with more than a dozen works that feature the American flag. Erbe is known for his innovative contributions to still life and trompe l’oeil (fool the eye) painting, a genre rooted in the tradition of eighteenth and nineteenth century realism.
The exhibit is here from now until August 2, 2026.

Join educators from The Museum on May 28 for Home School Days-Future Sleuths and Figuring Out Forensics! Learn about the importance of agriculture in Pennsylvania and how you can bring agricultural practices into your own home! Programs are designed for elementary school age students (younger and older siblings welcome to participate).
Reservations are required, and ticket prices for one session are as follows:
Members: $20 for 1 adult and 1 child, $8 for each additional child or adult
RSD Families: $20 for 1 adult and 1 child, $8 for each additional child or adult

Learn all about how we can be friends with butterflies right here in Berks County. All supplies are provided — just bring your creativity and an appetite for fun! Perfect for children ages 5-12 and their families. Each child will leave with a pollinator plant, while supplies last. This event is for members and non-members alike!
