Had a great time at the LACMA listening to some jazz and enjoying the vibes. This was the first time I made it to Jazz Night a d was pleasantly surprised by how much is going on at this place. People everywhere, some having a nice picnic on the lawn, some taking pictures at Urban Light, there was a chess game going on, kids running around, some dancing, this and so much more, all while The Julius Rodriguez Trio played wonderful jazz.
This is such a great event to attend, bring a blanket, something to munch on, and some drinks. Be sure you get here early to pick out a good spot, the place fills up, must've been thousands out there. The new Metro stop is right across the street from this place too.

"Off the Menu" by Gary Baseman at Johnie's feels like flipping through a nostalgic scrapbook of Los Angeles.
Set inside the iconic former coffee shop on Wilshire - with its retro booths, Googie architecture, and old Hollywood diner energy - the space itself feels like a time capsule of LA. Seeing all the hand-drawn menus from legendary local restaurants brought back so many memories of the city's food culture and history.
Baseman's playful, surreal style - full of cartoon-like characters, bold colors, and dreamy details - turns these familiar places into something whimsical and deeply personal.
The fact that the exhibit was free made it even better - and on the day I went, there was even a fruit stand outside giving out free fruit.

The Crypt Mausoleum of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angelsand St. Vibiana's Capel beneath the Church. Past a pair of guardian angels holding torches that are etched into glass doors you will find yourself surrounded by beautiful limestone and stained glass windows. So nice to see the large stained glass windows up close, they are perfectly lit and it can be easy to lose oneself looking into them. The whole Mausoleum was filled with the soft scent of flowers.

The 14 Stations of the Cross, or some may know it as the Way of the Cross, at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels.I was unable to find any information about these beautiful pieces. Colorful mosaic glitters at you as you reflect on the final hours of Jesus' life.

Had the pleasure to attend an organ recital at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. Sean Coburn O'Neal from Long Beach paired up withthe Dobson Pipe Organ to make some amazing music. I truly enjoyed hearing Pater Noster, Suite for Organ (2004) - Denis Bedard.
A prayer that I've got to experience in many different places throughout my life, from saying it with my mom in Spanish, to saying it among many inmates while incarcerated, now in a beautiful cathedral in on a unique instrument. I am very grateful to all that made this possible.
Along with the music, I got to explore some to the temple grounds, on a self guided tour. I included some images of the Cathedral, I'll make some additional post that will include the mausoleum and the 14 Stations of the Cross.

Back at Chino Farm Fresh Dairy! I was driving past Chino, so I had to stop and see what was being offered. I was hoping to get me some of blue milk, cotton candy was sounding good... I missed out this year, it's one of their seasonal flavors and I was a day too late. Oh well, I decided to try out their Rosa Brothers Banana milk and the Danzeisen Dairy Cookies & Cream.
Banana milk was amazing, so creamy and full of flavor. A little on the sweet side, perfect for my taste. A 10 all the way around.
Cookies & Cream was not one of my favorites, it was ok. I would have liked more of the cookie flavor. I don't think I'll be picking up another one of these in a while... then again I just saw they got some in with Alice Cooper on the bottle.

The COACH Coffee Shop at Desert Hills Premium Outlets. Had a great time at this place, their tiramisu latte, one of their signature coffee drinks was delicious, and the service at this place was awesome. The shop has a very Palm Springs feel to it. Would recommend for any COACH fan especially if you're into cute merch. I unfortunately missed out on the cookie that is in the form of the mascot andthe pink brownie purse cake, they were all sold out. Oh well, gives me a reason to go back.

St. Boniface Indian School and Cemetery in Banning. Once a Roman Catholic American Indian School ran by Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet. Opened in 1890, it forced an Americanization program to make students follow Euro-American culture. Quite a controversial topic nowadays. The School closed down in 1952. Not much left, some of the foundation, some construction rubbish,an a tiny Cemetery. The burial grounds feel out of place amid all the new construction, a new controversy in the area.

Cabazon Dinosaurs! Too bad I showed up so early and I was unable to go inside because these Dinosaurs are sooo cool. I've driven past this spot over a dozen times over the years, but this is the first time I stopped to take a closer look. So glad I did, they definitely are worth the time. One day I'll have to come by when they're open, I'd like to see what the inside looks like.

I found Grogu, he was peacfuly meditating on some vines. He is hanging out at The Grove, in front of the fountain, to promoteThe Mandalorian and Grogu movie. Go see the little guy, maybe he'll be out of his meditating session and he will talk with you.

PRADA EYEWEAR pop-up at The Grove. Had a great time trying on some beautiful sunglasses. The lines to get in weren't too long , and we got some ice cold flavored seltzer water while we waited. They had a small photo booth inside. My favorite part was having a portrait of me sketched by a wonderful artist., thank you so much Andrea.
