Greatest day of my life.

I got to marry my best friend while surrounded by those we hold closest to our hearts. God showed up in a huge way, a day that was supposed to be rainfall from morning til night and yet, it never rained. We even got a beautiful Georgia sunset, the whole reason we wanted to get married in that field. I’m so thankful that all our friends and family came such a long way to join us on our special day. Our hearts were so full. A day I will always remember. It’s still so weird to wear a piece of metal on my finger that means more than anything I’ve ever put on. It still feels so weird to come home to someone every night and getting to call her my wife. But man, it’s the greatest feeling. Here’s to the many years, adventures, laughs, and tears we’ll share together. I’m so excited to do this thing called life with you, G.

I asked my best friend, the love of my life, to marry me. It was pretty cold to say the least. But on our second date I randomly pulled into an abandoned parking lot, put the windows down, “Speechless” by Dan&Shay w/ Tori Kelly, and proceeded to hold Georgia in my arms as we danced behind the canvas of a setting sun. I knew that was how I wanted to ask her to be my wife. In a parking lot, dancing to our song, under the glow of neon lights and a moonlit sky.

I remember vividly the first day I saw you on set, you captured my attention and so quickly my heart. How quickly it felt like I’d known you for a lifetime and yet I had just met you. I fell hard fast, almost scaring you away and yet here we are. Thank God! I thank Him every day for you. You make me a better man. You’ve taught me so much about patience, forgiveness, self-control, how to love deeper, how to laugh harder, how to enjoy life fuller.

I can’t wait to call you my wife.

One year ago this girl changed my life forever.
Georgia, from the moment I saw you I knew something was special about you. From the way your eyes sparkled to the way you smiled so genuinely, so full of love, I knew I wanted to know more. Boy did I have no idea what I was getting myself into. Every second, every moment since then, has been the greatest and most breathtaking adventure I’ve yet to have in this life. People say long distance is hard…and damn are they right. From the late night drives, long FaceTime calls, and countless trips back and forth, we’ve not only survived, but dare I say we’ve thrived. There will never be a moment where it hasn’t been worth it. I can’t wait to finally live in the same state, maybe even the same town together, so we can turn FaceTime calls into movies and games and coffees together. One year down with you, so many more to go. You’re the love of my life and I don’t want to do life with anyone else. I love you Brown Eyes.

Sony Venice Rialto with Preston HU4, MDR4, and Cinetape. @keslowcamera had to create a 20ft loom of multiple motors and power cables in order to achieve some of our shots…pretty wild.

Being a 1st for a feature film was completely nerve wracking, but because of @bobby_hewitt @cinewourm @not_into_thewhole_brevitything @tristanhallman, it made the whole thing a little bit easier. Y’all were the best camera team. Kelly, thanks for leading the charge, man. Your spirit and energy as our A 1st was unmatched. And the many voices…couldn’t have asked for a better leader.
