We are proud to announce that The Weight of Light is now permanently on display at the Geosphere Ring inside the Evoluon, part of Next Nature Museum.
The Weight of Light is one of the stories we are building within FORMASI, our ongoing project exploring the deep relationship between man, ritual, and resources. We developed an interactive altar where physical effort becomes light. Energy made tangible, sacred, and earned: because what we take for granted every day is in reality a vast and complex system, one that deserves to be felt, not only consumed.
Seeing it installed and alive in this space after working on this project for over a year means a lot!
A huge shout out to Physical Matter for being essential to bringing this vision to life. Also huge thanks to the team of @nextnaturemuseum for their guidance throughout the process.

For the concept of the announcement video for @dkmntl Festival 26, we developed a 3D model of the radar tower, scanning the Amsterdam Forest, stages, and artists.
It was nice to dive deeper into the design and history of this monumental structure, which was placed in 1958 for Schiphol. Fun fact: the surrounding area of the tower was completely empty back then, but the trees slowly took over and didn’t quite stick to the agreement.
Even a later-added steel mast couldn’t keep the radar above the growing treetops. The new tower is now situated 7 km away, far from the forest.
The old tower will likely become a monument, absorbed by the forest and connected to the festival ground.

DEKMANTEL ’26
Through the eye of the radar.
Excited to share the announcement video we created for @dkmntl festival 2026. Big shout-out to the Dekmantel team for another amazing collaboration.
For this project we explored a wide range of techniques while developing this piece, including Gaussian Splatting in Octane, Cinema 4D, Unreal Engine, and E-ink. Special thanks to @otoy for developing the beta version of Gaussian Splatting for Cinema 4D, right on time!
We loved building this one and can’t wait for this edition, the lineup is massive.

Some research and development from the Karhu Mestari 2.0 campaign, where we printed 3D animated sequences onto washi paper and scanned each frame by hand. We love the fibers of the paper, which give it a very warm and natural look.

P.N. Portrait
Proud to share that we won last year’s Open Call by @nextnaturenetwork with our project: The Weight of Light! When it came time to deliver a portrait for the article, we realized we didn’t have one yet, maybe the first of many?
You can read the article featuring the Open Call winners via the link in our bio.
Next month marks the official opening of the Geosphere Ring, which will host our installation alongside many other great works.
The Weight of Light is an interactive altar where visitors generate power for a living, sun-like object. By moving a weighted block connected to a dynamo system, physical effort is transformed into light. Inspired by gravity-based energy storage, this ritual makes energy tangible, sacred, and earned.
In The Weight of Light, we explore the deep connection between humans, energy, and gratitude. The installation transforms the abstract idea of energy into a tangible, almost sacred experience.
We’ll be sharing more about the installation very soon!!

Our latest campaign for the brand Karhu focuses on the technical foundations of the shoe, including Fulcrum technology and the all-new nitrogen-injected AeroFoam midsole, highlighting Karhu’s dedication to durability and long-lasting performance.
For several sequences, we took a more tactile approach to the visuals, stepping away from the computer by printing 3D sequences on washi paper and scanning each frame by hand. The sound design followed the same philosophy, using physical instruments (accordion and violin) to create a grounded, tactile feel.
We’re excited to build on these approaches in future projects and see how far we can take the dialogue between digital and analog.
