hello, I have nothing new to post. So I decided to post some vinyl dumps on main . I’ve been restructuring my music folders away from genres and more towards the situations & moods each track applies to . Im thinking of dance music more as tools in a set, and a lot of the tracks im posting in this one have multiple uses rather than one singular function. lmk if I should do this again!

1. Takaaki Itoh - Bloom After Broken Life - an oddly euphoric, driving, broken-ish beat peak time track from takaaki itoh. unexpected when you consider his other releases from this time but nonetheless such a versatile weapon

2. Evolution - Crocodile Man - Trance-tinged, early 00’s tech-y driver. The saw stabs give big room, the vox samples give slacker, early psych-tech house.

3. Trancesetters - Roaches (Bugs in Slacker’s Bassment Remix) - if you’ve listened to any of the sets i’ve played in the last year you’ve heard this one.

4. 12 Months – Chawatt - slower, stompy proggy house track, with .. an acid line, middle eastern drums & rolling goa synths ?? such a weird one, but everytime a break builds up to that kick it’s such a fucking frenzy lol..

5. Two Right Wrongans – Sorry Mate, You’ve Got the Wrong House - more psychedelic tech house from Asad Rizvi + Nathan Coles (RIP)

6. Paranoid Jack – The Big O - House inspired tribal/techno driver with huge lush chords layered on top of 80’s vocal chops. Hard to find tracks that embody movement so well, the way each element of the groove grows throughout the track & the sense of relief when those huge chords come in

7. Dexter - Once In Your Life

8. Headspace - Pyschosis

9. Bushwacka! - Oh So Good - just a clear example of the cleverness in every single one of his tracks, this garage-y track combines the textures and sonics of deep jazz and recontextualizes into a late night, heavily swung killer.

10. Technasia – Force - Ending my post with a classic i’m sure everyone has heard, the voxless mix of force by technasia. I’m a huge fan of technasia but this one has a soft spot. I’m running to the floor if I hear this, no questions asked. the whole lp is gospel to me, both force + resilience are timeless imo
