The turbulent and unpredictable nature of public health measures has been an ongoing challenge over past months as we prepared for the PARALLAX.

Despite pivoting several times to satisfy changing requirements, yesterdays announcement that WA will move to Level 2 public health measures allows us no option but to regretfully inform you that PLANET X: PARALLAX will no longer be able to proceed this weekend.

After waiting for over two years since our last encounter, we were truly excited to share the result of many months of hard work and to reconnect with you all in our new environment. The space was ready, installations built, and the lights programmed. The grid was set.

The artists involved in this show had invested their time, effort and creativity into presenting works that were bound to blow you away – our hearts go out to them, as they have all faced so many difficult outcomes over the past two years.

All ticket holders will have now received an email from Perth Festival in relation to tickets and refunds. We advise you to check this and select your preferred option. Further information can be found on Perth Festival’s Terms & Conditions page.

We would like to acknowledge Perth Festival and the team that has worked tirelessly for the better part of a year to make the events at the European Foods Warehouse a reality. We are grateful for their willingness to engage with our local music community and for their synergistic ambition to provide a platform for contemporary electronic music and activation of exciting spaces within our city, so that we can explore new experiences and celebrate new local talent, together.

Despite coming to terms with this disheartening realisation, we are optimistic and have our sights set on the future. Memories of our last encounter in late-2019 fuel us with the desire to continue dreaming of our future state, and this is what we will continue to work towards.

We thank you for your patience, understanding and your ongoing support.

PLANET X: PARRALLAX is now officially SOLD OUT! Big thanks to everyone who supported us despite the changes - we can't wait to show you what we have been working on. See you on the grid...

After taking time to monitor the unfolding environment in WA and much consideration, it is an absolute thrill to announce that the PARALLAX can still commence in full physical form on 05.03.22 - although with some unfortunate alteration to our musical personnel (due to the extended border closure in WA). Moopie, Reptant, OK EG & Myles Mac will be unable to perform as planned. BUT rest assured…  There are some extremely exciting home grown additions to the PLANET X atmosphere.

Welcoming Lucky Pete, Amphibia, Bruna + Ernest & Young into the ecosystem alongside Yikes, Rok Riley, Reelize Studio and much more... for a full throttle audio-visual experience set to stun. 

For those who missed out on tickets;

PLANET X: PARALLAX arrives 05.03.22 at it’s new ephemeral coordinates - the European Foods Warehouse in Yandilup / Northbridge - in partnership with Perth Festival. Revisit that off-world party atmosphere from a completely new perspective.
Connecting constellations of expression through underground dance, music and installation, let your mind unwind and your body move free, as an all-Australian showcase of talent from both sides of the Nullabor guides you through your interstellar trip.

After last weekend, words are hard to find.. Such a enthusiastic and warm array of people contributed to this special evening. Thank you to all who brought their open minds and dancing feet to fortify the PX atmosphere. The energy was everything. Thanks to everybody who has given feedback - your words have been so kind and constructive. Thanks to the artists, performers, technicians, staff and volunteers for your professionalism and talent.
