I kind of want to explore the hanging gardens of Falorx and spend some time with these adorable and mysterious creatures! I love their lenticular shimmer and bashful yet curious playfulness 😊
This was the first film I created having trained the Falorxifier on the images from the graphic novel!
It’s still blowing my mind that this is even possible🤯

Ed Handley und Andy Turner, besser bekannt als Plaid, sind seit den späten 80er-Jahren fester Bestandteil der elektronischen Musikszene. Entstanden aus dem legendären Projekt The Black Dog, zählen sie zur goldenen Warp-Generation – gemeinsam mit Acts wie LFO, Aphex Twin, Squarepusher oder Autechre. Doch was Plaid besonders macht, ist ihr Gespür für echte Melodien und klassische Songstrukturen – ein seltenes Gut in der Welt experimenteller Elektronik.
Plaid klingen wie die Zukunft mit Blick zurück: modern und gleichzeitig warm, verspielt und doch detailverliebt. Ihre Musik verbindet ausgeklügelte Synthese-Techniken mit Einflüssen von frühem Hip-Hop bis hin zu psychedelischen Klängen der 60er- und 70er-Jahre.
Live sind Plaid ein Erlebnis: Ihre Musik ist nahbar, atmosphärisch und voller Seele. Elektronische Musik, die nicht distanziert oder kühl ist, sondern berührt , auf kreative, eindringliche Weise.
