Dubai magical Fog! a perfect ending of 2023 🎉
I’ve been chasing fog for several years, it’s always unpredictable but when captured the results are epic. This one is shot from the 53rd floor and the fog just hit the city with the rising sun.
Shooting directly in the sun is not an easy task, specially for a Timelapse, using the right settings and gear is crucial @sonymea.
Special thanks to @faaboc

A desert story 🐪☀️
This frame started as an idea: a lone camel crossing the Empty Quarter dunes framed by the glowing Abu Dhabi sunset.
We spent hours driving deep into the desert to finally find the perfect dunes and camel 🐪
With less than 40 minutes before sunset, we rushed to align every element:
the camel…
the rider…
the dune lines…
and the sun melting into the horizon 🌅
As we drove away to compress the shot the dunes started overlapping and we lost sight of the camel, almost to give up as we got stuck in soft sand… suddenly it appeared again in the distance!
We rushed to take the camera and walked on the dunes to align all the elements together. After several attempts and melting under the desert heat, we finally got the perfect frame ✨
One image holding an entire story.
Huge thanks to @khd_uae & @hamed_musharbak for the teamwork and patience 🙏🏼

Deep into the Abu Dhabi desert ✨
Long before satellites and GPS… the desert sky was the map. Arabs travelers crossed endless dunes guided only by the stars above them ✨🌌
Standing beneath this sky feels like stepping through time — a reminder of how small we are within the infinite universe.
Special thank to @astro_alq in picture for the amazing night 🙏🏼
Couldn’t have capture this without the team work @khd_uae @hamed_musharbak 🙏🏼

This is not Bolivia’s salt lake …This is Kazakhstan 🇰🇿
Shot with the king of low light the new SIGMA 14mm f1.4II @sigmauae
I traveled from Dubai to the remote Mangystau region with my Kazakh brother @nomadic.route chasing one impossible shot: perfect reflections under the stars ✨ But to make it happen, we needed rain (luckily it rained) and absolutely no wind for the reflection. After days of checking the forecast, I finally found a window at 3:30AM where the wind would finally stop, the Milky Way would be visible after moonset, and the sky would clear.
We landed the same evening and went straight into a 4-hour overnight off-road drive through mud, darkness, freezing weather, and no signal. As we reached the lake, the real challenge started. Slippery mud, we hadn’t slept for almost 24 hours, and temperatures dropped to 4°C 🥶 But like magic, the wind finally stopped and the lake turned into a perfect mirror. We gathered every bit of strength left to capture what we could before sunrise light melted the stars. The result was breathtaking. It is one of those moments that makes every risk and sleepless hour completely worth it.

This is not Bolivia’s salt lake… this is Kazakhstan 🇰🇿
I traveled from Dubai to the remote Mangystau region with my Kazakh brother @nomadic.route chasing one impossible shot: perfect reflections under the stars ✨
The mission sounded simple… until we checked the weather and wind forecast.
To make this happen, we needed rain for the water level, but absolutely no wind for the reflection. The problem? The entire week was full of rain and heavy wind 💨
After days of tracking the forecast, I found the perfect window, it was the next morning at 3:30AM where the wind would finally stop, milky-way is visible and the sky is clear.
That became our only chance.
We traveled and landed in the same evening, jumped straight into a 4-hour overnight drive, crossed endless off-road tracks in complete darkness, no signal, no roads, nothing around us except mud and cold. Half the drive felt like we were lost somewhere on another planet. Luckily we had the best driver 😁
And once we reached the lake… the real challenge started.
The mud was slippery and deep it kept sticking on the wheels, one wrong move and the car would be completely stuck. Freezing winds, 4°C weather, no sleep for almost 24 hours… and we were definitely not dressed for it 🥶
All of this… for a 30-minute moment between moonset and sunrise where everything perfectly aligns .
Like magic, the wind finally stopped at 3:30am and the lake turned into a perfect mirror.
This is one of those moments that makes every risk, every sleepless hour, and every kilometer completely worth it.
Would you do this for a photo? Send this to that crazy Photogrpaher friend you would travel with!

I traveled to Kazakhstan to get this dream shot with the full moon 🌕. I Aligning the golden eagle hunter 🦅 on one of the famous mountains. This shot brings together a story connecting ancient Kazak traditions of eagles hunter with our moon. Kazakhstan is a rich cultural country born along the Silk Road. A country that is widely underrated for its beauty.
Special thanks to @nomadic.route for helping bring this vision to life.
