Painting by Dale Wittig @daleedwinwittig of a worker on a take out lid from his fave restaurant on 1st ave near 3rd St.
Dale died last night. He was a Great Painter and a fount of knowledge across multiple disciplines. Together with Max Schumann @maxschumann3333they formed Cheap Art and put together a once a year massive show at Max Fish @maxfishbar, starting in 1989 before it was a bar and more a community gathering spot. RIP
