So simple and satisfying. Only available at our Silverlake location — Gai lan sprouts. Less bitter and more tender than mature Gai lan (Chinese broccoli), these sprouts are rich in vitamins and calcium. #芥藍苗

We believe in the power of economic boycotts and the importance in protesting the inhumane violence many communities are facing at the hands of ICE. After many conversations with our staff and community, we have decided on a course of action that reflects both our staff’s desire to strike, and their desire to continue working. Pine & Crane Silverlake will be closed to the public, but the space will remain open as a hub for food distribution in partnership with various community groups. Joy and Pine & Crane DTLA will remain open. We are committed to reaching solutions that look to serve both our team and each location’s community. These solutions are not one size fits all, but our discussions have led us to do what we believe is the greatest good.

At this time, we would like to highlight the work of Esperanza Immigrant Rights Project @esperanzaccla and the ACLU SoCal @aclu_socal who have worked tirelessly to provide services to immigrants and defend their liberties. We have partnered with them in the past, and are standing with them on 1/30/26 by donating 10% of that day’s proceeds directly to them. If you choose to dine with us at Joy or Pine & Crane DTLA on 1/30/26, in lieu of payment, you can donate the amount of your check to either of these organizations. We’ll have QR codes to scan at the register. The work that they do is vital, and they are struggling for resources at this moment. We also hope that this is not a one-time donation, rather an ideological and economic shift towards recurring and consistent support for these organizations; not just at a time when their work is thrust into the national spotlight.

At our core, our restaurants are a vibrant, diverse group of people— working together, eating together, and living together in Los Angeles. We hope that today and every day, we would strive to be kind to one another and support each other in the process of liberation and dignity for all.

If you were unable to get tickets before they sold out, we still have some open space. Check in with us at the door and we’ll work something out!

6:45 arrival ensures time to order Pine & Crane, grab a drink at our drink stand, and snag a bag of popcorn! Bringing a camping chair or blanket is highly encouraged.

We’re excited to see you and to enjoy a relaxing night in the park 🎟️
