PERRX 🚨— NL-based queer latine club night AND worldbuilding project for the first time at UTRECHT PRIDE.

we will pull you by the thong into the night with sounds from Abya Yala; from neoperreo, cumbia villera, baile funk, kuir reguetón, to //category defying// tunes 🥵🚒

PRIDE is a PROTEST always and forever 💥 every PERRX night is a collective anti-facist orgasm 🪻dancing to dissident voices and anti-systemic resistance; a night of community play, de sonrisas y sudor mariK. of revolutionary J O Y as fertilizer for a Garden of communal sluthood ❤️‍🔥

every year we see a pride that’s about excess, consumption and corporate greed, normalizing the underlying cisheteropatriarchal and capitalist systems and its different forms. the recent years we’ve seen state violence and repression to anti-genocide messages, the depolitization of a fight that has not ended for most of us. we want to invite you to resist with us and our beautiful community, hand in hand 🤝

❣️Palestine Cafe Utrecht is bringing Palestine Queer Cinema back to Utrecht for the second time, in collaboration with BAK Basecamp, Colored Qollective, De Voorkamer, and PERRX. ❣️

Palestine Queer Cinema offers a curated lineup of short films from Queer Palestinian and allied artists across historic Palestine, the diaspora and beyond. The event celebrates Palestinian voices and highlights the key role of art in resistance and the struggle for liberation.

Palestine Queer Cinema is a part of a global film festival, marking 1 out of 110 screenings in 34 countries. The program features a diverse mix of identities, lengths, styles and genres (doc-hybrid, experimental, fiction, and animation). All proceeds go to Al-Qaws organisation for Sexual & Gender Diversity in Palestinian Society.
