STILLE POST
Karl Patric Näsman & Christoph Punzmann
30 April - 5 May 2026
Parallel Collective Gallery, Stockholm
Stille Post was the second and concluding part of an exchange project between the Stockholm-based artist Karl Patric Näsman and the Vienna-based composer and sound artist Christoph Punzmann. The first part was presented in 2025 in Vienna, the project was now presented in its entirety in Stockholm at Parallel Collective Gallery.
The exhibition loosely revolves around the idea of the “Whispering game”, exploring how information becomes distorted and transformed as it moves between image, sound, and different materials. Through sculpture, painting, and sound, the project investigates how expressions gradually shift through processes of copying, translation, and repetition.
In the exhibition, Näsman presents sculptural relief works from the series Metamorphosis, including new works based on a recently 3D-scanned ancient sculpture from the Ephesos Museum in Vienna. All reliefs have been 3D-printed and subsequently cast in new editions, where digital technologies meet traditional sculptural methods. The exhibition also includes a painting series spanning more than a decade, in which an eighteenth-century Dutch painting is reproduced through a chain of repeated commissions from reproduction companies in China. Through this process, the image gradually changes its appearance, echoing the logic of the exhibition’s theme.
In dialogue with Näsman’s works, Punzmann presents a sound composition during the opening night in which acoustic instruments are combined with digital processing and live electronics. In his performance he moves between contemporary composition, experimental music, and electroacoustic practice, where sound gradually shifts through repetition and feedback loops, forming an atmospheric soundscape within the exhibition space.
The exhibition project Stille Post explores copying as an artistic method and how notions of the original, reproduction, and transformation are continually renegotiated as information moves between different media.

This Thursday!
Paintings & sculptures by Karl Patric Näsman
Sound performance by Christoph Punzmann
Stille Post is an exchange project between Stockholm-based artist Karl Patric Näsman and Vienna-based composer and sound artist Christoph Punzmann, first shown in Vienna in 2025 and now presented at Parallel Collective in Stockholm.
Inspired by the “Whispering game,” the exhibition explores how information shifts as it moves between image, sound, and material. Through sculpture, painting, and sound, Stille Post examines copying, translation, and repetition.
At the opening, Punzmann will perform an electroacoustic sound piece in the gallery at 18:30. Limited seating. Drinks will be served.
With support from the Swedish Arts Grants Committee.

It’s the weekend and time to stroll (even though it’srain-snowing) . Open today 12-16:00! A warm cup of coffee is your at arrival 💙
