A reminder to ALL to slow down in Canterbury-Bankstown and help keep our community safe.

Speeding is the biggest killer on our roads contributing to around 40% of road deaths in NSW. In 2021, there were 75 speed-related crashes locally in Canterbury-Bankstown.

Managing speed is everyone’s responsibility and key to protecting yourself and others.

This national event encourages primary school children and their families to walk safely to school — building healthy habits while promoting road safety, public transport and a cleaner environment 🌱

Join us and help keep kids in our community safe while they get active.

✋ Drivers, our local kids have something to say — slow down, stay alert and watch for children. 🚘👀👂

Remember: children under 10 should always hold an adult’s hand when crossing the road.

Held on World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, come along to this FREE seminar to help you understand how to protect yourself, know your rights and hear from and connect with trusted local support services, including @nswpolice, @fireandrescuensw and and @nswambulance.
