Dagger is out.

Fresh look. Same purpose.

This car was never meant to be a trailer queen or a parking lot build. It was built to be used.

Street car.
Track capable.
Power Tour bound.

The new look gives the car an identity, but the real test starts now.

This weekend Dagger heads to Driveautoxtreme in Bowling Green for its first real outing with the new setup.

New wrap.
New changes.
Same goal.

Build a car that looks right, feels right, and can actually be driven.

What do you think of the new look?

Who else gets a little nervous on that first drive after major changes?

You hear every noise.
You feel every vibration.
You’re just waiting to see what the car does.

That’s where Dagger is right now.

Fresh look.
Fresh changes.
First real test coming up at @driveautox

It’s easy to make a car look good sitting still.
The real question is how it feels once it’s being used.

Full reveal tomorrow at Drive AutoXtreme.

What’s the most nervous you’ve been on a first drive after working on your car?

Before any event, there’s always a list.

Some things are obvious.

Fluids.
Brakes.
Tires.
Torque checks.
Alignment.
Cooling.
That noise you keep hoping is “nothing.”

Do you have a specific checklist you use before an event?

Dagger is getting a new look right now, but the wrap is only part of the story.

The real test comes next.

May 22–24, we’re taking it to Drive AutoXtreme in Bowling Green, Kentucky to see how the whole combination works under real conditions.

Not parked.
Not staged.
Not just finished-photo clean.

Driven.

Suspension, brakes, tire, wheel fitment, cooling, fluids, and overall balance all have to work together. That’s the point of this build.

A car can look right sitting still.
We want to know if it works when it’s being pushed.

This is the first real step toward proving what Dagger is supposed to be:

A street car that can handle track use, road miles, and real-world abuse without needing to be rebuilt around one single purpose.

What’s the first thing you pay attention to when testing a fresh setup?

A lot of people build cars for the “finished” photo.

We’d rather build something you actually want to drive.

Windows down. Back roads. Fuel stops. Random evening drives that turn into a couple extra hours because the car just feels right.

That’s the part people miss when they focus only on numbers.

A good performance car shouldn’t just be fast.
It should make you want to keep driving it.

That balance matters.

What’s the one modification that made your car more enjoyable to drive—not just faster?

Most builds don’t fail on track.

They fail on the drive there.

Overheating in traffic. Fuel issues. Poor planning. Bad combinations. Parts that looked good online but don’t hold up in the real world.

That’s why events like Hot Rod Power Tour matter.

Thousands of miles will expose what actually works—and what doesn’t.

A usable performance build should be able to:
👉 sit in traffic
👉 survive the heat
👉 handle long days
👉 perform when pushed
👉 and still make the trip home

That’s the standard we build around.

Power Tour proves what actually works.

First event competing. Sixth or seventh event attending.

Braden Jones took home the Summit Racing Equipment Spirit of the Event Award at NOLA Motorsports. This is an award that recognizes the people who truly represent what the USCA is all about.

From being a familiar face in the paddock long before competing, to showing exceptional character throughout the weekend, Braden embodies the passion, respect, and community that make this series special.

Congrats to Braden Jones on an incredible first event and a well-earned Spirit of the Event Award.

Who’s hitting Hot Rod Power Tour this year?

Full run or just a few stops?

OSS and Red Line Synthetic Oil will be making the full trip this year—putting the cars, the parts, and the whole “usable performance” idea to the test the entire way.

Heat. Traffic. Fuel stops. Long days. Real miles.

That’s the kind of environment we enjoy.

Drop where you’ll be along the route—we want to see who we’ll run into.

Not every win comes easy.

After an accident on the way back from getting fuel, Jake Jackson showed up to grid with the hood and bumper missing from his car. Most people would have loaded up and called it a weekend.

Jake went back out anyway.

Through the damage, the setbacks, and the chaos, he kept pushing and drove his way to a win in Outlaw class. That is the kind of determination this series is built on.

Sometimes it is not about having the perfect car. It is about refusing to quit.

Power Tour is the kind of environment that exposes what a build really is.

Heat. Traffic. Fuel stops. Long days. Thousands of miles.

If something in the combination isn’t right, it usually shows itself pretty fast.

That’s exactly why we’re going.

We believe a performance build should do more than survive a dyno pull or a short track session. It should be able to handle real use in real conditions—and still be enjoyable to drive.

This year OSS is teaming up with Red Line Synthetic Oil for the full Hot Rod Power Tour, and we’ll also be out on the midway helping people solve real problems along the way.

Cooling issues. Fluid questions. Reliability concerns. Build planning. Real-world use.

That’s our kind of environment.

Who else is making the trip this year?

Project Dagger just got a serious upgrade.

We installed @vikingperformance Berserker Coilovers, @bmrsuspensionsub-frame connectors, torque arm, panhard bar, lower control arm relocation brackets, and our OSS Big Brake Kit with @wilwooddiscbrakes 4-piston calipers.

To finish the setup, we went with @weldwheelsLaguna wheels in an 18x11 square fitment wrapped in 295/30ZR18 Vitour Enzo V-01R tires.

@redlineoil will be keeping Project Dagger protected and ready for real street miles, track time, and everything in between

But this build isn’t about throwing parts at a car.

It’s about function.

Every part was chosen to work together — suspension, braking, tire, and chassis — with one goal in mind:

A well-rounded street car that can hold its own on track, then clean up and take your wife to dinner the same night.

That’s where the details matter.

Street manners. Track capability. One complete system.

Project Dagger is getting closer.

👉 Who wants to see what this can do on track?

We’re running the full Hot Rod Power Tour this year.

Not just to show cars.
Not just to park in a booth.
Not just to talk about usable performance.

We’re going to prove it.

Heat. Traffic. Fuel stops. Long days. Changing conditions. Thousands of real miles.

That’s where weak combinations get exposed.

A car can feel great for one pull, one lap, or one short drive. But when the miles start stacking up, the truth comes out fast.

Cooling matters.
Drivetrain matters.
Fluids matter.
Tire choice matters.
Suspension setup matters.
Planning matters.

That’s why OSS is teaming up with @redlineoil for the trip. We’re putting our builds, our process, and the products we trust into real-world use from start to finish.

Built to be used.
Driven the whole way.
Tested by the miles.

Who else is running Power Tour this year?
