MOTHERHOOD (MY 1st TIME MOM EXPERIENCE )

The 4th Trimester is VERY REAL

If MOTHERHOOD doesn't change your life, then there's nothing else that will again 🙈 (Apart from the HS)
It's a Job that you have no prior experience in, but you still have to carry out and execute properly to the best of your ability.

I struggled so much the first few weeks 😩 😭 😫 😪 and it made me mostly cranky and annoyed 😑. Honestly nothing prepared me for this new life that I now had, I was thinking that after the 9months journey and delivery I will REST very well and SLAY in the clothes that I couldn't wear, but in reality the opposite was the case, I just had to be home and available for my newborn 24/7 and I literally had to pause my own life temporarily to nurture a new life.

There were nights that I cried 😢 because I badly needed sleep but I just couldn't. Here's what's funny, all this happened not because I didn't have help but because I just couldn't trust anyone to do anything perfectly for my child including my husband 🙈. If you go ahead to do it behind my back I would still do it to my taste for example, I like to wash and sterilise feeding bottles myself, do baby laundry myself,give baby a bath myself e.t.c. and because these things are pretty much unending I get myself worked up.

As a PERFECTIONIST that studied MICROBIOLOGYyou can imagine how I've always lived my life wanting everything to be perfect, neat and germ free like that's even possible🤣😅🤣😅.

But here's one of the numerous lessons MORHERHOOD has taught me, everything can't always be perfect you have to learn to accept help and let go if you have good people around you, your child would be fine 😊 because there's no award for most stressed out mom anywhere in the world and that child whom you're putting yourself under unnecessary pressure for needs you Healthy and Sane to take proper care of them.

Motherhood is a mixture of emotions, but even on the hard overwhelming days,don't get worked up PLEASE 🙏. To the new MOMS out there you'll be fine. 🙂 😌 👌 Lots of Hugs to you. You're doing well 🤗

I honestly have so much to be grateful for, because if it was not the lord that was on my side, where would I be? Thank you Abba 😊
Very smooth and stress less pregnancy turned into an emergency just in blink. I was left to make a very tough and difficult choice " Give my baby a chance by Birthing him pre-term", and I had a few hours to prepare the lungs for early removal.
I felt real raw pain like never before,I took lots of medications, drips and injections a loooooot, and after that the NICU journey began, I saw my child fight to be here today, countless medications, drips, blood withdrawals and he stayed strong 💪, My boy those days were hard but your strength gave me strength. Then I was discharged to go home without you, very heartbreaking experienceI couldn't even tell anyone what happened asides immediate people around me and family because I didn't want questions, I didn't want anyone to breed fear in me, so I was he praying to God everyday that you come home soon. And God answered you came home, and you were readmitted 2 days after, we were literally in and out of the hospital for months and I was supposed to be recuperating "God abeg"

I kept believing God that all is well, and you were eventually discharged with multiple check up days in a week, we has doctors appointment 3 times a week for 6 weeks straight 😀. I don't even know how I survived those days of very early mornings and late nights. God kept me and healed me totally.

To my sweet son OLUWAJOMILOJU UJEOVE MIRACLE, my miracle child, the one that I prayed for, the one that God sustained by hos mighty hand, my Joy giver there's never a dull moment with you. You can never be sad around this child at all, his Joy is contagious. I'm grateful that God gave me the privilege to be your mommy. You are light you bring life and light into every room you step into and so shall it be forever and ever. Amen 🙏.

I Thank God everyday for the gift of you my OLUWAFERANMI OTHNIEL, my super special, super energetic Son.
