Final day at Devon County Show 🖤
Five hours to set up.
Two and a half hours to pack down.
Out of the showground just after 8pm tonight… followed by a little walk with Nova, some dinner, and now we are both VERY ready for a couple of quiet days 😂
What a brilliant few days it’s been.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by the stand — whether you shopped, picked up a business card, chatted with me, said hello to Nova, or found us online afterwards. Every conversation, compliment, order and little moment genuinely means so much when you’re a small business.
I always forget how much I love show life until I’m back in it again. The early mornings, the setup routine, the busy moments, the familiar faces, the other makers, the chaos, the community… I honestly wish it lasted longer.
One of my favourite moments this week was finally getting chance to properly see lovely Pam from Onda’s work in person. Pam was actually one of my customers back in November 2022 — and she still wears the spoon ring she bought from me then 🥹
This week we ended up doing a little trade.
Pam fell in love with a spoon bookmark that says “fell asleep here” and I fell in love with her beautiful handmade headband and fleece.
Exactly the kind of wholesome small business interaction I live for.
And Nova even found herself a little show boyfriend this week… which I think might have been the highlight of the entire weekend 🖤
Thank you again for such a wonderful Devon County Show ✨

Challenges and wins! #marchmeetthemaker2026
Some days it feels like too much.
Too many roles, too many decisions, not enough time!
But then I look at what ONDA has become 😌 slowly 🧡 and I remember why I keep going.
Not because it’s easy.
Because it feels meaningful.🙌
I think that’s the strange beauty of building something by hand: the challenge and the win often live in the same place.

Today at @marchmeetthemaker we focus in design details. Which I think is great because I probably spend more time on the parts nobody really sees. Like looking for good second hand fabrics, choosing the right button, the right label, trying things, changing them, going back, starting again. All this are small details that makes my brand unique.
Sometimes it’s a tiny adjustment that makes everything work.
Sometimes it’s just a feeling 😌 like “this is finally right.”
It’s not the fastest way to make clothes,
but it’s the way that makes sense to me. 🧡 #marchmeetthemaker2026

For today’s #MarchMeetTheMaker2026 @marchmeetthemaker
Who is it for?…
When I started making clothes, I wasn’t thinking about “a target customer.”
I was thinking about how clothes should feel.
Comfortable, practical and playful. Things you can wear every day without overthinking them.
Over time I realised the people who connect with ONDA are usually the ones who value the same things: slow processes, thoughtful design, and materials that deserve another life. One of the most beautiful parts of running a small brand is seeing who connects with the pieces. Parents dressing their kids in them. People choosing them for everyday comfort. Someone finding a piece that simply makes them feel good.
When you make things slowly and by hand, you start to realise clothes can carry a little bit of story with them.
And that story continues with whoever wears them next.
Thank you for being part of it.
