Born and raised in Harlem long before cameras, credits, or call sheets were part of my life, the Studio Museum of Harlem carried history and weight in the community I grew up in. ✊🏾
Moving through the Studio Museum of Harlem with a Steadicam during its historic reopening felt deeply grounding. I’m grateful to be part of something that remembers where I come from, and honors the paths still unfolding.
