Finally posting the original full video from @wwd following @theestallion during #ParisCoutureWeek. I had no idea the WWD team were going to be there and was stunned. After we got press credited by WWD, whichI am very grateful for, I felt elated. ❤️‍🔥 This is a new level of accomplishment for our brand and I’m taking time to bask in gratitude. To be creating and showing, side by side with the best of the best in the industry. To be a part of something truly meaningful, emerged from healing and limitless creativity. Couture fashion is art. I’m still integrating into what happened and processing, my heart filled with gratitude for everyone involved. Especially to @gauravguptaofficial @thepoetresse for taking me with them on this journey of a lifetime.

When designing this headpiece for Megan Thee Stallion, what immediately resonated with me was her authenticity, strength and power. Gaurav’s beautiful beaded gown accentuates her femininity and sexuality. I sought to balance this with a bold headpiece that is reminiscent of the mane of a stallion and the crown of a queen. Using a combination of vintage Indian jewelry and our signature beading style, the piece accentuates Megan’s striking features with a powerful, dangerously serpentine shape. The unique design and shape was achieved through an iterative design and construction process that required over 60 hours and the work of five artisans.
