Good morning! We’re open today until 9pm! We have the silly sausage appearing as pork ragu, whipped ricotta, sage! The whipped ricotta actually also contains a bit of goats cheese but you wouldn’t know especially as I don’t like to say because people get weird about goats. Did you know I was going to start a goat farm one day? Well I was. Would still like to but I think that ship might have sailed. Anyway! Come and try it because weirdly only 3 people ordered it yesterday! I’m going to get more beer because you drank it all

Howdydoody doggio! This is Silly Sausage with celeriac and tarragon slaw, capers, anchovies, herbs, mustard etc. we are open tonight and tomorrow until 8pm! Come for what M*** B*** on google reviews described as ‘average’ and thought he’d be happy with if it was £4! I mean the mind boggles why people think it ok to leave negative reviews. Good morning! We are OPEN TODAY at the station for Market Sunday! Come and see us for hotdogs, burgers and chips! Also mustard! And curls of fennel sausage for the bbq if the weather holds up or the pan if not! We have beer and cider and shelter from the storm!

Happy international workers day! The silly sausage this week by way of yes that’s right the fairly well unionised Chicago is with IOW tomato (lol), chopped onion, hotdog relish, pickle spear and flavour shake which is as you know by now 33% celery salt. I ordered pickled peppers but they didn’t arrive! I blame the unions! Do I? Not really. Workers of the world - unite! They say this one is a ‘hotdog that’s been dragged through the garden’. Which I like! A dinner in flux tugged each way toward nature and industry. It’s me on a plate! Or is it? I don’t know! Cheers then! Open until 8pm tonight and tomorrow. And on SUNDAY TOO!

Morning! Miso glazed aubergine, crispy noodles, spring onions. We have a couple of ‘cocktails’ ‘on’ as well - a fresh fruity paloma and a robust and stabilising Bloody Mary. Lovely beer too here until 8pm sun shining loads of seats outside pizza cheese doubles and dosas!

Having never had a pan big enough to fry as many aubergines as I’ve wanted, receiving this Norwegian plancha thing as a present from my parents-in-law is up there with (yes I think) the best moments of my life. I love it. I was bought it to make Swedish flatbreads but it is so incredibly useful and reliable that I use it for everything and now it lives at work. The brand is Meteor. Anyway I’m grilling aubergines to cover in miso and put on top of a hotdog with fried noodles and spring onions. Other photos from the week: Grindstone cowboy/mustard/drying tekkers. Look at this tiny fimo hotdog my incredibly talented sister made me. No, she’s not a sculptor she works in drug dependency rehabilitation but clearly learnt a thing a two helping me (for free) when I first opened. Anyway another perfectly sized morsel for the cabinet of curiosities I was told I would find nothing to fit in. We open this week Thursday - Saturday. Lunchtimes and Friday and Saturday evenings. I accidentally bought the expensive Italian white onions instead of the usual small brown onions (I will send them back if they’re too big I hate big onions…) anyway I’ve charred them then pickled them then tossed them in oregano and I would say they’re giving green lanes energy of course I’d never make a claim like that publicly because how dare I! Anyway they’re here with rocket and a red pepper vinaigrette which are giving different energy altogether. We’re open today and tomorrow!!
