There's more at stake than a trophy.

The NZ Interior Awards 2026 Premier Award winner will be featured in a 2-4 page advertorial in @thelocalproject - one of the most respected design publications in the region - in their November 2026 issue.

This is your work, your practice and your story, in print and in front of an international design audience.

The Premier Award is not entered separately. It is awarded at the jury's discretion to the most outstanding entry across all professional categories.

Submissions close Wed 27 May. Head to the link in bio to enter.

Following the news of AGM’s closure, NZ Design Week is proud to announce our commitment to supporting the future of interior and spatial design recognition in Aotearoa.

Building on the 15-year legacy of the Interior Awards, we are committed to ensuring this vital platform continues to thrive in 2026 and beyond.

We’ve been blown away by the industry’s support and are engaging with members of the design community to shape what comes next, with NZDW developing an independent programme to carry this forward.

Slide through to hear from the voices behind the industry, and stay tuned for more details.

LightCo at @nzdesignweek 2026.

Presented at the Design Depot in Shed 10, our exhibition brought together a curated selection of collections as part of this year’s People + Place programme.

Over three days, the design community experienced the pieces up close while engaging with the wider programme of exhibitions, talks & discussions that shaped the week.

Thank you to everyone who visited.

Design meets tequila. 🍸

For @nzdesignweek , we served the new @chuquicocktails Margarita batch all night. Clean, sharp, and dangerously easy to drink.

From the first pour to the last cheers, the bar stayed busy.

Designers, creatives, and a lot of margaritas later… safe to say the night worked exactly as planned.

Batch cocktails. Fast service. Good chaos.
