Great to see all the progress Penn Yan is making on their Downtown Revitalization Initiative projects.The DRI is transforming communities all across New York State.Thanks to Governor Hochul’s continued support, we’re seeing real results firsthand!

We just cut the ribbon on Harper’s Corner in downtown Rochester alongside our partners at @nyshcr ✂️🏢

What was once a long-vacant corner has been transformed into workforce housing, affordable commercial space, and new opportunities for local entrepreneurs and small businesses.

Projects like Harper’s Corner reflect @govkathyhochul goal to create more affordable housing, revitalize downtowns, and strengthen communities across New York. Congratulations to @cityofrochesterny and everyone who made this project possible!

What was once an aging, forgotten playground is now a vibrant, ADA-compliant space where every child can play, families can gather, and the community can connect from the playground to the trails to the waterfront. A beautiful new chapter for Penn Yan. 🛝

250 years later and at the start of this Memorial Day weekend, the fallen patriots discovered in Lake George back in 2019 have finally been laid to rest at the “Repose of the Fallen” memorial grounds.

This new memorial, funded through the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI), ensures their sacrifice will never be forgotten by future generations to come. 🇺🇸

The NYS AAPI Commission gathered over 100 participants at the Albany Capitol Center last week to discuss issues impacting the AAPI community. Issues like immigration, political and civic engagement as well as funding community – based organizations who are serving AAPI populations. Another successful listening tour.
