A special morning for our young company members as His Majesty the King and NYMT alumnus Sir @idriselba joined us for a workshop and performance at @theotherpalace
In celebration of our 50th anniversary, the King paid us a visit as students from @coreeducate worked with NYMTs @katiebonna and @samfreeman__ in an improvisation workshop. The King and Sir Idris Elba also watched a special performance from our PLATFORM members.
Idris Elba, at the age of 18, received a grant from the Kings Trust (the Princess Trust back then) which allowed him to take part in NYMT.

We are delighted to reveal that we will be joining the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra on 31 August to celebrate the music of Alan Menken, in the Prom "Enchanted: Alan Menken’s Music for Disney".
With 86 concerts and more than 3,000 musicians across eight weeks, it’s set to be an extraordinary summer of music.
Tickets will go on sale in May.
