Memorial Day gives us a chance to slow down and remember the brave soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for a greater nation.

Today, we would like to highlight 1st Lt. William "Brad" Turner, who led his men into the German lines in WW1 in a daring night attack.

While under intense machine gun and artillery fire, Turner and his men pushed into enemy trenches. Turner, armed with a 1911 sidearm, began assaulting German machine gunners and engaged in hand-to-hand combat.
