I stood out in rain for three hours on Saturday. I got shook once and broke off 3 times and ended up with a big zero. So when the fish start taking off the top, itβs very welcome. Worth a couple drops. βοΈ

I got busted off by a couple chonkers on Sunday. Wasnβt quite ready for that. Tonight I went back for revenge. Didnβt get to meet my chonkers, but happy this guy put me on the board for 2026. Game on. ππ€
This winter was a winter π₯Ά winter. It showed up with all its luggage and never left. We had a few challenges. We were way late on our firewood. πͺ΅ Our quad we plow with gave us the finger after the biggest dump since the 90s and we ended up shoveling our entire drive. We got the car stuck in snow more than once. There were a couple weeks where the temps barely made it out of single digits. But we patched it together and despite everything Iβm a little bummed to see temps warming up knowing we will have to say goodbye to all this pretty snow. Hope to see you again next year. βοΈβοΈππ€βοΈβοΈ

Definitely one of my favorite escapes in the NE yonder. It takes a bit of work and grit to make it happen, but that allows you to easily not see a soul. Also backs up to a national park with miles of backcountry π trails and you can briefly disconnect from this big dumb world to be alone with the things that bring you joy. Thank you lady. @aurora_v_k

Phew. Hokkaido, where do I start? The bottomless powder outshines a lot of the magic of being there. But itβs impossible to ignore things that make a visit to Hokkaidoso unique. Like discovering hidden gems off the beaten path, the delights and surprises of every konbini visit, the comforting warmth each time you sit on a Toto, the unexpected politeness of lifties, thesketchy ass roads, the untamed and relentless Siberian cold fronts, the amazing ski caf lunches (fuck your $25 buck chicken fingers), and the years restored to your life when you visit the onsen. This was our second visit and it wonβt be our last. Mata ne. π―π΅βοΈπ₯ππ₯βοΈπ»
