Listening back to this music, reminds me of my time in Uruguay, experimenting with composition, tango, candombe, bebop, technology, storytelling. Then moving to this magic place on Earth called Berklee. I went there with no money, for 6 months, and ended up staying roughly 10 years. There are dreams we create while we sleep: the dreams of slumber. There are dreams we create while we are awake: the dreams of waking life. I had the absolute joy of working with two incredible artists, Rina Kohmoto (piano) and Sheila Del Bosque (flute), who gave the music a truly unique lift. What you’re going to hear is a single take, completely unedited. Hearing that music live, as Rina and Sheila were building it, was an unforgettable experience. It’ll be available on all platforms shortly, and I hope you’ll join us on this journey.
