These are the iconic kickers hi.

It’s 1997. The hard lads had rockports, the posh kids had clarks, but the red and green tabs and that classic floral tag lent kickers the subtle Gallic flare that made em the school shoe of choice for me.

On the feet of the rockstars of the 70s, madchester ravers of the late 80s and thousands of UK school kids in the 1990s, it’s a brand with a proper bit of cultural cachet

I’ve gone for a casual inspired outfit here; we’ve got the @venturon_fr jacket from the French alps, @unfeignedgear Long sleeve polo from Madrid, straight leg jeans are the @orslow 105s and finished off with the classic @kickersuk hi in nubuck tan.

Chunky sole, brass eyelets, quality leather, cotton laces.
The kick hi has jut celebrated it 50th birthday. An absolute footwear classic

How many pairs of jeans have you got in your wardrobe?
I’m on twelve at the moment. Silly number.
But these are the ones I’ve been reaching for most over the past 6 months.
They’re the stonewashed selvedge straight legs from @dubbleware .
I tried some on during a shoot I did with @thegreat_divide in summer and it was love at first sight.
Worn in feel. Muted yellow topstitch. Straight cut. Button fly.
Nice Bit of selvedge ID on the turnup. Love em.
Dubblewear is old school US workwear so I kept the fit in that lane.
