"The first priority is to equip medical facilities with the resources and staff to treat Ebola in a safe way."

Dr Natalie Roberts, MSF UK Executive Director, spoke with the BBC about the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of Congo, and how MSF is responding.

🔴 MSF is preparing a large-scale response to the Ebola outbreak in Ituri province, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

According to the Congolese authorities, there have been a total of 246 suspected cases and more than 80 deaths reported so far. On 15 May, health authorities in Uganda also confirmed one case.
