Des que la vaig dissenyar fa cinc anys, Migra ha marcat diversos moments de la vida catalana. Les exposicions del Museu Picasso, les celebracions de Nadal del 2021, els cartells de la Clàssica a la Platja, i ara aquesta celebració de la extraordinària victòria del Barça són només alguns dels molts esdeveniments on he tingut el plaer de trobar Migra en ús. Cada vegada, em deixa més sorprès i orgullós d’haver contribuït, encara que sigui marginalment, a l’escena del disseny de Barcelona, una ciutat que m’ha canviat la vida tant creativament com personalment.

Originaris de dues capitals històriques de la tipografia, Venècia i Roma, Piero Beninato i Valerio Monopoli es van conèixer després de traslladar-se a Barcelona. Els va unir la passió per les lletres, el bon vi i aquell punt de nostàlgia per la cultura d’on provenen.
I és precisament en aquesta cultura on troben inspiració els projectes que presentaran a Contraforma: dues tipografies inèdites nascudes de l’imaginari vibrant i singular del còmic italià.
A través d’aquests treballs, Piero i Valerio oferiran una mirada al procés de disseny tipogràfic compartit i, sobretot, al que significa construir un recorregut creatiu basat en l’amistat.
