Session Description:
Machine learning and computational technologies are mapping new terrains of human–machine collaboration, where embodiment becomes both medium and method for rethinking creativity, interaction, and regeneration. These convergences challenge us to reconsider the boundaries of the human body, machine agency, and both individual and collective imagination.

This session invites artists and researchers to share projects and perspectives on embodied human–machine practices. We welcome short presentations of completed works, works-in-progress, or research explorations, especially those engaging with the aesthetic, philosophical, and political dimensions of embodied convergences. Areas of focus include (but are not limited to):

Wearables systems and interfaces
Robotic art and automated choreographies
Generative and data-driven practices
Embodied interaction and somatic approaches
XR and immersive performances
Audiovisual interaction in dance, theater, and live arts
Sound and music computing
HCI and real-time interactive systems

It’s 1976, and less than 3 years before her exile, the Empress Farah beckons Andy Warhol to begin pop-art portraits of the royals in Tehran. When a fascinating University student takes Warhol hostage to publicize his group’s demands, a life or death struggle ensues over revolution, responsibility and the arts.
