Finally had a chance to get my Sony Venice 2 out into the wild. Literally. 4am pre light led to some amazing sunrise shots. The 3200 base ISO is no joke. Full frame 8.6k imager mode 3:2 acquisition X-OCN ST capture. I framed then blanked in 2:35 aspect ratio in order to get full width of sensor…what a huge frame. Lots of examples of both 3:2 and 2:35 shots coming. Both ungraded and graded. #sonyvenice2 #sony #sonypro

Fun with IMAX and Venice 2. First flight with my new camera. May as well be full frame 3:2 IMAX framing. Yes it’s heavy.

Finally. My camera will be here Thursday. Got both 8k and 6k sensors. Time to nerd out. Available to rent…maybe. Ha.

There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it.I think I just conceded that I’m the mirror. I’m ok with that.
