Today in Amsterdam something really special happened. I visited @haasamsterdam spoke with the owner, and now my Candy bag is also in her store. She even chose the black version of my charm, which made me incredibly happy. π€
More than anything, Iβm grateful for the conversation we shared. It feels so rare to truly connect with someone on such a similar wavelength, talking about building a brand, creating bags, and crafting everything by hand with genuine care and intention. Meeting someone like her felt really special.
When I stopped by, she was also working on new bags in the studio, and I loved seeing that process and energy in person. I truly admire the work of this studio, and this whole crossing of paths felt very emotional and meaningful to me.
Thank you so much for this moment.

I just wanted to share a quick info about the name of my bags. Everything I make is part of the The Nappe Bags collection.
βNappeβ comes from the French la nappe, which means tablecloth.
I chose this name because it really reflects what I want my bags to be. Theyβre meant to be everyday pieces, not just something you wear on special occasions. Something you actually live with, use a lot, and keep for a long time.
As you know, Iβm always trying to improve and push my designs further.
Right now Iβm working on some new pieces called βCandyβ. Theyβre shiny, a bit gathered, and kind of remind me of sweet little candies.
So yeah, until I finish these shapes, I wanted to share some of my favorite artworks connected to the idea of tablecloths.
Domenico Gnoli, Without a Still Life, 1966
Susan Jane Walp, Two Black Radishes with Hair Tie, Knife, and Corks, 2001
Ivan Lubennikov, Le Mirroir round, 1999
Zhang Enli, White Table and Chairs
Olga Antonova, Apple on Plate, 2024
William Scott, Green Beans on a White Plate, 1977
Elin Kleopatra Danielson-Gambogi, After a Breakfast, 1900

The symbol of an egg can vary depending on context, but generally, it represents birth, potential, new beginnings, and life.
I have used the symbol of the egg in the past in the context of creativity and still life, and for me, it represents change.
The birth of something new, or even better, the transformation of something old into something new. I feel that I am currently experiencing a significant period of change, which brings both some apprehension and, above all, immense joy.
I sense that now is the perfect time to start trying things anew, giving them a fresh, new dimension. To not be afraid and to be true to myself.
This is the mindset I am embracing as my entry into this yearβs spring. π
