Tonight — settle into the Lobby Bar at The Hoxton Portland for an evening of adventurous, intimate jazz with the Meg Samples Trio, presented by PDX Jazz.
Featuring Meg Samples Morrow on drums, Mieke Bruggeman on woodwinds, and Patrick Carr on keys, this trio brings together some of Portland’s most inventive improvisers for a set that moves effortlessly between groove, texture, and deep musical conversation.

Back in January we unearthed an old Triple Martini classic that we submitted to Schoolhouse Rock back in 1974. We haven't heard back yet—too soon, Schoolhouse Rock?

We're back. We enjoyed the Atlantis Lounge so much in January that we consented to allow them to allow us to ask to come back, which we did, and they said yes, yes, a thousand times yes! (Which, at this rate, will take 250 years, but we've got staying power, so we're in it for the long haul.)
