For this week’s MASH Minute, we'd like to introduce you to Dusty! Dusty is approximately 8 years old and came to the MASH unit after her owner sadly passed away. Despite everything, this sweet girl is full of love and ready for a fresh start. ❤️🐱
Dusty is in good health, incredibly lovable, and would make the perfect addition to a caring family. She’s looking for someone to take her home and give her the second chance she deserves.

Today, we remember Corporal Darrell McCloud, who died in the line of duty on May 13, 1985, following an automobile crash while responding to a traffic call.
At approximately 9 p.m., another vehicle collided with his patrol car near North 107th Avenue and West Camelback Road. Witnesses pulled Corporal McCloud from the wreckage and performed CPR until paramedics arrived. He was airlifted to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Corporal McCloud had served with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office for 19 years. He is survived by his wife and two children. His dedication, service, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Onyx is a 2-3 year old Lab mix who came into MCSO after being abandoned in a New River case. Despite everything he’s been through, Onyx remains one of the sweetest and most lovable dogs you’ll ever meet.
He’s happy, healthy, has no medical issues, and is ready to find his forever home with a loving family.
