Hey everyone! I’m Danny.

Feeling extra thankful today for all of the constant support you guys give me 🀘🏽There’s been quite a few new followers in the past week or so, so I just wanted to take a second and introduce myself to all the new people and just give a bit more info about myself to all you guys who have been around for awhile

I love travel, taking photos, making videos, flying drones, seeing new places and doing basically anything to get outside. β›°

I grew up in a little small town in Colorado, and always dreamed of traveling when I was younger. As soon as I got out of high school I booked a solo backpacking trip to Iceland, and have been hooked on travel ever since.

I tried the whole college thing - but it wasn’t for me. After one year I dropped out and decided to pursue photo / video full time. It was a serious struggle in the beginning, and I had to work a bunch of different jobs to save enough money to go traveling - but slowly but surely I started getting my name out there getting little gigs that allowed me to keep traveling.

Since then I’ve pretty much been on the road full time searching for stories to tell, crashing way too many drones, and just chasing the next adventure. I’ve been able to work with some awesome brands like Redbull, Gooogle, United Airlines, DJI, and GoPro. One of my favorite things I’ve been able to do is build out my dream camper van during the quarantine. It’s been the ultimate home base to travel the states this year 🚐

I hope my content inspires you guys to get outside, break out of your comfort zone and mainly just do more things that make you happy 🀘🏽

Anyways, enough about me - I’d love to get to know some of you guys down in the comments! Where are you from? What do you like doing? What’s your favorite color?

In honor of heading out on another GoPro summit - here’s one of my favorite shots from the first one I went to in Fiji 🌴

We spent a few days in the Yasawa Islands and it was one of the most incredible places I’ve ever been. It’s a small chain of island just north of the main island. From the air it looks incredible, but honestly the best part was the thriving reefs under the surface. I’ve never dove anywhere that felt more alive - and the craziest part was it was nearly dead just a decade before. It gave me hope for the future of coral reefs πŸ™πŸ½

Unboxing the brand new @gopro Mission 1 Pro πŸ‘€

Incredibly stoked to be testing this out over the next week in Morocco at the GoPro creator summit! I was lucky enough to get drone permits - and can’t wait to get this thing in the air ✈️ I also love the new point and shoot grip. Makes it feel like a proper point and shoot for street photography πŸ“Έ

A feeling like no other…

This place was unreal. I’ve been to the Bonneville salt flats in Utah, but Uyuni is almost 100 times bigger. The scale made it feel like we were truly on a different planet. What I didn’t realize was the solid salt layer is actually just a thin crust on top of a massive salty lake. Kinda made it feel a bit precarious ripping at full speed, but it was such an incredible feeling πŸ™πŸ½

This photo is a special one.

When I was a kid one of our family friends showed me a photo of himself in this exact spot. It was in this country that I probably hadn’t ever heard of called Bolivia. Back then I knew I wanted to travel and see the world - but had no real clue if I’d actually be able to go out and do it. Even if it was brief, standing here felt like a full circle moment.

These motorcycle trips are so difficult sometimes. It’d be pretty hard to design a more logistically challenging trip if you tried. Between flat tires, other bike problems, not knowing where we’re going to stay every night, border crossings and long term vehicle storage. It can be rough.

But getting to see this big beautiful world I dreamed of as a kid makes all the struggle worthwhile.

Thanks for the photos πŸ™πŸ½ @jonah_levine

In a shocking turn of events - we have once again encountered a problem on our journey south. It’s probably the most major mechanical problem we’ve had since we left California, but hoping to have it sorted in the next day or 2.

In the meantime I’ve finally had some time to edit a few photos from the Uyuni Salt Flats. Words cannot describe the feeling of ripping across the flats at 70mph in any direction. I truly have never been somewhere that feels so vast.

During parts of the year this place is covered in a thin layer of water - which makes for epic photos, but also prevents you from riding on most of the flats. Personally - I’m very happy we got option number 2πŸ‘ŒπŸ½

Phone dump from 2 weeks on the road 🏍️

1 - First tase of the Andes west of Lima
2 - Machu Picch-ing!
3 - First flat tire of the trip (we had to change it twice 🫠)
4 - The most epic river crossing of all time
5 - @jesse.evers had a long day
6 - Nevado Paryaqaqa - 18,860 ft
7 - New altitude record for the bike! Hoping to beat it before we leave
8 - Peanut butter Nutella tortilla - the bottom of our food pyramid
9 - Bikes simply look better with mountains in the background πŸ‘€
10 - This day we went from 13,000 ft down to 3,400 ft. This bridge was the low point (and the boiling hot point)
11 - Llama POV
12 - I’m slightly above average height here
13 - Morning light at our first camp spot
14 - The 3 musketeers (DR 650 version)
15 - @jonah_levine ripping

Relatable words from the person that first introduced me to cross continental motorcycle travel over a decade agoπŸ™πŸ½

We have officially been in Lima Peru for 9 days now waiting for our bikes to get released by the government and are itching to get on the road. Per usual, we’ve had some bad luck on a few different things but we’re making the most of our time here. Looking through last year’s clips and editing episode 3 of Southbound.

Hopefully the bikes get released tomorrow and we’ll begin making our way up into the Andes and towards Cusco πŸ™πŸ½

Living on the edge 🏍️

Shot on the @antigravity_global A1. Still having such a blast shooting on this thing. Being able to focus on your line and knowing the subject is in frame is such a hack for tracking.

You can now snag this thing for 20% off, and if you use code AGRWWOO for a free landing pad + high capacity battery.
