Hey everyone! Iβm Danny.
Feeling extra thankful today for all of the constant support you guys give me π€π½Thereβs been quite a few new followers in the past week or so, so I just wanted to take a second and introduce myself to all the new people and just give a bit more info about myself to all you guys who have been around for awhile
I love travel, taking photos, making videos, flying drones, seeing new places and doing basically anything to get outside. β°
I grew up in a little small town in Colorado, and always dreamed of traveling when I was younger. As soon as I got out of high school I booked a solo backpacking trip to Iceland, and have been hooked on travel ever since.
I tried the whole college thing - but it wasnβt for me. After one year I dropped out and decided to pursue photo / video full time. It was a serious struggle in the beginning, and I had to work a bunch of different jobs to save enough money to go traveling - but slowly but surely I started getting my name out there getting little gigs that allowed me to keep traveling.
Since then Iβve pretty much been on the road full time searching for stories to tell, crashing way too many drones, and just chasing the next adventure. Iβve been able to work with some awesome brands like Redbull, Gooogle, United Airlines, DJI, and GoPro. One of my favorite things Iβve been able to do is build out my dream camper van during the quarantine. Itβs been the ultimate home base to travel the states this year π
I hope my content inspires you guys to get outside, break out of your comfort zone and mainly just do more things that make you happy π€π½
Anyways, enough about me - Iβd love to get to know some of you guys down in the comments! Where are you from? What do you like doing? Whatβs your favorite color?

In honor of heading out on another GoPro summit - hereβs one of my favorite shots from the first one I went to in Fiji π΄
We spent a few days in the Yasawa Islands and it was one of the most incredible places Iβve ever been. Itβs a small chain of island just north of the main island. From the air it looks incredible, but honestly the best part was the thriving reefs under the surface. Iβve never dove anywhere that felt more alive - and the craziest part was it was nearly dead just a decade before. It gave me hope for the future of coral reefs ππ½

Incredibly stoked to be testing this out over the next week in Morocco at the GoPro creator summit! I was lucky enough to get drone permits - and canβt wait to get this thing in the air βοΈ I also love the new point and shoot grip. Makes it feel like a proper point and shoot for street photography πΈ

A feeling like no otherβ¦
This place was unreal. Iβve been to the Bonneville salt flats in Utah, but Uyuni is almost 100 times bigger. The scale made it feel like we were truly on a different planet. What I didnβt realize was the solid salt layer is actually just a thin crust on top of a massive salty lake. Kinda made it feel a bit precarious ripping at full speed, but it was such an incredible feeling ππ½

This photo is a special one.
When I was a kid one of our family friends showed me a photo of himself in this exact spot. It was in this country that I probably hadnβt ever heard of called Bolivia. Back then I knew I wanted to travel and see the world - but had no real clue if Iβd actually be able to go out and do it. Even if it was brief, standing here felt like a full circle moment.
These motorcycle trips are so difficult sometimes. Itβd be pretty hard to design a more logistically challenging trip if you tried. Between flat tires, other bike problems, not knowing where weβre going to stay every night, border crossings and long term vehicle storage. It can be rough.
But getting to see this big beautiful world I dreamed of as a kid makes all the struggle worthwhile.
Thanks for the photos ππ½ @jonah_levine

In a shocking turn of events - we have once again encountered a problem on our journey south. Itβs probably the most major mechanical problem weβve had since we left California, but hoping to have it sorted in the next day or 2.
In the meantime Iβve finally had some time to edit a few photos from the Uyuni Salt Flats. Words cannot describe the feeling of ripping across the flats at 70mph in any direction. I truly have never been somewhere that feels so vast.
During parts of the year this place is covered in a thin layer of water - which makes for epic photos, but also prevents you from riding on most of the flats. Personally - Iβm very happy we got option number 2ππ½

Relatable words from the person that first introduced me to cross continental motorcycle travel over a decade agoππ½
We have officially been in Lima Peru for 9 days now waiting for our bikes to get released by the government and are itching to get on the road. Per usual, weβve had some bad luck on a few different things but weβre making the most of our time here. Looking through last yearβs clips and editing episode 3 of Southbound.
Hopefully the bikes get released tomorrow and weβll begin making our way up into the Andes and towards Cusco ππ½
