I did a thing… (excited to finally share this)

After years on stages, things have shifted in me… and in the people I’m speaking to.

I was focused on resilience -what we’ve been through, what we’ve overcome, and how that strengthens us.

But what I’m seeing now is:
People aren’t just dealing with hard things or one big change…
They’re dealing with constant change.
No pause.
No reset.
Just ongoing pressure to keep up.

So my research and my message shifted.

Change isn’t slowing down. The people who succeed (and find a way to enjoy thier big, messy, marvelous lives) are the ones who Get Good at Change.

I’ve been testing this with teams and audiences (even at Google!), and it’s hitting in a whole new way.

Right now, in this decade, in this moment in history, with constant tech updates and AI, and uncertain politics, and life ‘lifing’... motivation isn’t enough.

People need a way to handle what’s coming at them. That’s the framework I’ve created.

This is the message I’m all in on. And a very talented editor helped me put together a new ‘Speaker Reel’ to put this out into the world.

I had written an elaborate script about a year ago, that would have taken me days to make that was about this story, and I still might make it, but then recorded this video on her gotcha day../

I decided that night that it was time. So from 11pm to 4am, I wept for at least an hour going through old photos and videos of ani during the chaotic guardianship and adoption.
