Life. Health. Hip Hop.

Had a little reunion dinner with this legendary crew last night. We got together to link up with our guy Albee, reminisce, catch up and enjoy a great meal.

There’s so much history, too much for an IG caption, I have so much love and gratitude for these guys. Albee is one of the 2 people to tell me to come to NYC and work in the music industry, I probably wouldn’t have had this career had I not sold him weed at the Gavin Seminar. I was fortunate enough to meet and become friends with everyone else when I moved to NYC. Because they were already established, I mean they are way older than me 🤣, and I already knew their work so I’ve always looked up to them.

When I think of my love for Hip Hop, how I got into the biz and the contributions this crew has made, I am in awe I get to call them friends (I mean I’m assuming we’re friends, I might be reaching 🤣).

Seriously though, it was an honor to bring everyone together to break bread. These moments are so fulfilling and necessary, let’s normalize these gatherings and continue to celebrate life and each other.

Big Happy Bornday to @nycreef

And everyone give Albee a follow @mralbee63

Thank you to Julio and @ilpostoaccanto for hosting us
Love you guys!

It is with the heaviest heart that I share, my mother passed away yesterday. Fortunately, she went in her sleep with no signs of pain. She spent the last five years struggling with dementia that slowly rendered her body immobile, but she didn’t suffer. She seemed to be reverting into an almost childlike state for the last few years. I’m so grateful that we were able to enjoy this time together. She was always working while I was growing up. She never missed a day of work in her life.
She devoted her career to combating poverty and inequality worldwide. Her life’s work aimed to level the playing field. She made a difference.
And she was still an awesome mom. She taught me to love, to give, to listen. She taught me to trust. She encouraged my interests and my dreams, she taught me to write, to dance and appreciate music and art. She modeled the value of an education and hard work, she taught me how to think ahead.
And looking forward, I know life will never be the same without her. I will miss her deeply. Of course, she’ll always be with me.
Rest well, Mom. I love you. Sogni d’oro.

Friends and family,
I’m asking for your help. My girlfriend, Felicia, is in need of assistance for healthcare costs associated with treating her brain tumor. April will make ten years since her diagnosis. Without sharing too much of her personal medical details, suffice to say that recent progressions and procedures are causing a large increase to her co-insurance payments, even with good coverage. She’s already received an amazing amount of support from her friends and family and is fast approaching her goal. Please help if you can. Thank you.
